Best Dental Chews for Small Dogs?

Dogs can run into many dental problems, and many of them are like human dental problems. Dogs can have bad breath, a buildup of food and bacteria, and plaque.

They can even have problems with painful gums. It is important to have dental chews for your dog so these things don’t become serious and painful problems.

It’s best to find low fat and organic chews that will fight plaque and maintain good dental hygiene. It is also beneficial to find chews that are loaded with vitamins to keep a healthy mouth and an overall healthy dog.

Best Small Breed Dog Food for Sensitive Stomach?

If not fed the proper food and given the best nutrition some dogs can experience upset stomachs. A dog with a sensitive stomach needs to stay away from the ingredients that will only cause more problems.

Some ingredients that can cause upset stomachs are corn, corn syrup, peanut hulls, chicken byproduct, and lots of salt. These ingredients are high in carbohydrates, which is something unnecessary for your dog. Dogs do not need lots of carbs for energy.

  1. Yorkies just melt my heart!! Mine had dental issues and even though I brushed his teeth often, I think I should have given him more chews designed to clean his teeth. There are some great dog foods on the market now, with no grain ingredients that probably would have worked for him better. He didn’t eat much though. My next pup will be so spoiled but I will be better informed!

  2. My dog is a mini aussie but she has a crooked or snaggle tooth and she eats small breed dry dog food lots better. Thanks for the tips.
